what intrigues me is the open work on it..
@lep I know very little about Song wares but this looks odd to me, so unless this is coming from a very reliable seller I'm not sure I'd take the chance on it. Hopefully others with more knowledge will chime in.
I don't think I would take a risk on this. Song ceramics are admired for their simplicity. This doesn't seem to fit.
I suspect the colours must have been adjusted as they appear differently in some photos. They certainly seem a little odd.
@julia the difference in colours it was me trying to get them back to more natural colour.. because the photos were taken under a artificial light..

Ah, I see. I thought that would be the reason, but thought it was the seller. It is sometimes really hard to capture certain colours. I want to sell a nice cloisonné vase with a beautiful green background, but I cannot capture that shade of green even though the other colours all look fine.
Hope someone else can offer a more hopeful opinion on the cup.
Somehow I can't see it as a fake. Could be Liao or Tang dynasty.

I don't see it as Song but it may well be some other period - or from somewhere else?
Could you ask for more photos that give a better idea of the colour?

still trying to find similar in google, korean were known to do open work, but doesnt seem like it, either way, still curious about it..
I realise I have been looking at this from the perspective of whether it is a Song celadon, then wondering where else may have produced similar coloured pieces. However, looking at it this morning, it strikes me that the colours are more like sancai wares.
I also tried to do some research on reticulated pottery, one site said it started in the Song dynasty but I have only found one piece allegedly from then and it was a celadon, pierced ornament, not a double-walled vessel. Other sites say Ming and there are reticulated double-walled items from then, but I didn't see any sancai glazed examples. Still, it maybe worth investigating?
Or try looking at pieces where the technique originated, only I can't remember where that was. I think maybe the Turkey/Iran region?
I really don't know, but if it is genuinely old, one would expect (hope) to find something similar, somewhere.

I have no idea. The colours seem different again. I still don't think I would risk it - unless it was exceptionally cheap and I could return it if I wanted.
