@richardjleach It's a very pretty bowl. It's hard to judge monochrome porcelain's age without handling. The form of the foot appears correct for 18th c., but modern pieces can copy this. Someone with more experience with the shade of blue with that black wire crackle used on genuine pieces can probably tell you if the piece is genuine, or not. I do not have that knowledge, but I'll take a look around online.
I also think it is fairly modern. The foot appears to have a slightly chalky look to it, is that coorrect? I had a couple of modern-ish crackle ware pieces - both different shapes and colours to yours, but very pleasing to look at. One had a chalky look to the foot and both had that kind of black smudged line along the foot rim that yours has.
@richardjleach So, I took a quick look at the major auction houses, and LiveAuctioneers.com. I did not find any examples of this crackle ware in the color of your bowl.
The crackle design is derived from Song wares (Ge/Guan), and consequently the color associated with the crackle is celadon, from a pale white, a variety of greens, and pale blue. Your blue is a bit too dark to be described as a light blue celadon.
So, unless your bowl is of a rare design (which I would have to assume if it was that rare it would have a reign mark), or a later 19th c. work where there was some experimentation, it is of a more modern date.
I find the bowl very beautiful, and I have a habit of being a bit generous with my dating to earlier periods, even when a bowl appears modern in form or feature. So, I have not completely given up on the bowl being genuinely old.
Can you supply more photos? Maybe a close up of the foot rim, the mouth, and the interior of the bowl?
Here is a photo of inside

Inside
@richardjleach Those photos suggest the bowl is modern as others have pointed out. The glaze should have some variation in the bubble size for a wood kiln piece, but there is only fine bubbles. The foot rim is perfectly white...not what you'd expect on any antique piece.
Thank you
Appreciate the feedback
@richardleach
Hi Richard -
Concur with others, from the additional images provided this bowl appears to be a recent copy. The glaze colour and foot rim tone are wrong …
The overall shape, glaze colour/crackle tone of is base on originals made during the Song Dynasty. Some Ming pieces produced in veneration these in terms of glaze, crackle colour/tone and mouth-rim treatment come closest to that seen on your bowl, which may be base on such …
Attached image of a conical shaped bowl, Gugong, Palace Museum Beijing, which illustrates these features …

@ming1449 That's a beautiful bowl! That looks like it has metal banding around the top or is that just brown dressed? And it almost looks like the foot might have a metal band on it as well? Can you say if that is so or not? Thanks! John

The art of calligraphy - and for the ancient Chinese it certainly was an art - aimed to demonstrate superior control and skill using brush and ink.
