Based upon my previous submission of a similar vase from this dealer, I think I already know that this vase is "new" but want to double check. She makes no claims about the age of the vase which is telling, but a lot of dealers don't know what they are doing, so i am giving it a go here.
it has a fake kangxi mark for whatever it is worth. but it isn't terribly done - neat and clean but definitely no cigar. the foot is not qing. the decoration is not awful or bad but the blues are not subtle or shaded enough for truly good quality.
PS - i am now convinced that it is "new"

i had added it but it was rejected for being too large.
Even though it’s not Kangxi maybe a revival piece what was she asking for the vase?
@tonyatl Could you also show a picture looking at the side of the bottom where the glaze ends at the foot, and also some close ups of the foot?
i screwed up by not doing a good job of taking the right pictures. i will get better pictures next week when i go back. for now, this is the best i can do.

i want to say somewhere between 400-600.
yes i thought it could possibly be a revival piece but i am not comfortable with it being a late qing foot. things in its favor are its painterly / tight style - the style is not typical of what i see on "new" pieces. but until i get better confirmation, i have to assume that it is new, yet its quality details draw me to it.
@tonyatl I think it has potential to have some age, but it would be nice to have better pictures of that foot, etc. Since they aren't giving it away, you could send pictures to Peter and see what he thinks before you decide either way. That's what I would probably do. And he probably would be able to tell you what it is without even needing better photos. I'm not confident, but I do think it looks pretty nice all around and seems worthy of getting an assessment. Update us on what you find out. John

holy crap. you sure have a knack for finding pictures. and what's more, mine is not a lamp. i will wait till tomorrow to see what other opinions are provided, and if it is still in questionable status, i will have peter look at it. thanks for the help.
ps - if it were 200 or less i would take the chance and be done with it. but once it goes too much higher i want more than a hunch 😮
Perhaps try to compare the calligraphic style of the Kangxi mark with period examples. The vase is superb IMHO.
There are a couple factors that make me think not Kangxi. The foot is not correct should be more rounded the paste is not dense enough also. The construction also looks incorrect look at the shape at the neck joint. The condition is perfect no typical pitting. It’s nicely painted but doesn’t fit any rendering from the period. But I would definitely have Peter look at it. If period it’s worth money.
@lotusblack even if not period, it could have good value if it has sufficient age and artistic merit. the mark meant nothing to me because they are so often and promiscuously reproduced. but i included it for completeness. i did submit to peter for review.
