Basic Rules For the BidAmount Asian Art Forum: Talk about whatever you want. You can even discuss and offer things that are for sale if they are authentic. Maximum image file size per post is 2 MB. Images of 700pxl x 700pxl are optimal if saved at a medium resolution. Be respectful of others and enjoy yourself. Click the YouTube link for a brief tutorial on using the forum. You can also EMBED Videos by cutting and pasting from You-Tube, Vimeo etc.

I think I figured out a couple to add. One other question, I have to make my account visible to public for people to see the pictures, right? Any concern about privacy, or any best practices to follow?
Yes you are correct. You must make your account visual and not private in order for other viewers to view your post.
No need to be concerned about privacy. But that said I wouldn't disclose personal information to people you don't know etc.
Instagram is a fantastic app I have been on there for over two year now and I have about 1300 followers.
As time and posts progress you will meet some very interesting collectors and dealers. I have meet a number of good people. I have also sold a number of pieces via instagram. It's my main avenue of sales via @adams-asian-art.
The only drawback with this app is that there are a large number of fake or scam artists operating on it. So one needs to be vigilant! But that said it's the same problem on all social media apps. I get daily requests from people in Indonesia or close by trying to sell me new porcelain as old. 🤗
Keep posting items either that you own or from other sources on a regular basis. If can do at five posts a week you will see people will start following you and vice-versa. If you don't do that then you will have little or no followers. Always try to do at least 12@ in the message section. I see have done three. So try to increase that on your future posts.

@imperialfinegems thank you so much! I plan to gradually add pictures of my items, but it’s not a lot to get 5 items per week. 🙂 hope to connect more friends with common interests mainly
