I was wondering if this Tureen looks legit. It’s quite beautiful in person so I hope the pictures do it justice. I have no idea how old it is and can’t find any comparable Flambé Tureens.

My feeling is also that this isn't right. The shape seems very european and even if it were chinese for the european market, the glaze/shape combination seems all wrong.
Besides, this may be a coincidence, but the base is very like that on a pair of imitation Yuan-style vases I bought to make into lamps. I also don't think that a piece that is trying to appear as good quality would have specks of glaze inside. I think I would expect the inside to look different, too, if this were an old piece genuinely made to be used.
It is very decorative, though.
