Chinese Ming Monochrome Porcelains
On this page you'll find a fairly wide ranging selection of (1368–1644) monochromes as well as few Transitional examples. The examples we've opted to present here represent a fairly good cross section of Chinese Ming monochrome porcelains found in the market today, with a few much rarer examples for comparison. Pay close attention to the small details such as the foot-rims and textures of the glazes. We've included Longquan celadons, Cizhou and solid cobalt as well as other color glazed examples.
