We at plcombs Asian Art located in Gloucester, Massachusetts has been actively buying and selling Asian art and antiques for over three decades. We have an active customer base of willing and able buyers ranging from collectors to institutions and top notch dealers around the globe. These are regular customers with whom we've done business for many years, some have been buying from us for over three decades.

We began back in the late 1970's when the Asian antiques market was considered to be officially dead. We didn't care back then, it's what we love doing. Today, the Chinese art and antiques market is the biggest market in the world and we're pretty happy about that and you should be as well. While we buy Chinese antiques, we are also very interested in objects from other parts of Asia as well.  In particular bronzes from Thailand.

Our offices are located in downtown Gloucester about half a block from the harbor, we've been here for many years and cannot think of a better place to be and to conduct business. We're usually here from 8:30 to 6:00 daily Monday through Friday.

It's pretty simple actually, we do things the old fashioned way.  Simply give us a call any day of the week or email us to get the ball rolling. From there we can discuss what it is you need and the available options for getting you there. We can tell you what your things are (if you do not already know) what they are worth. If you feel we can be of service to you, we can easily arrange to visit you in person, either in New England or anyplace in the country. We buy outright as well as sell on your behalf via consignment for a percentage of the selling price.

Buying Chinese Antiques is no all we do, we also appraise them for insurance, estate purposes and equitable divisions among heirs.
