What's the reputation of the Chinese auction site gucn.com? Mostly modern reproductions? Mostly real? Depends on the seller?
I don't intend to buy anything, just curious what people think of the site. Thanks!
I'm especially curious about the reliability of the expert evaluations in this section.
They seem mostly legitimate to me. Could be a valuable learning tool for those who read Chinese or are willing to spend the time with a translation tool.

Viewed this website. Difficult to navigate as it's all in Chinese (no surprise there). Tried to use the translation button to no avail.
Judging by my very limited view of this website I would be very apprehensive about buying anything from here. Bearing in mind that it is very difficult or even potentially illegal to sell antiques prior to circa 1911 to outsiders from the mainland China if my memory serves me correctly. Unless of course those said items have been officially declared as of no cultural interest/importance.
Having difficulty with navigation. Perhaps members who reside in or at least are fluent can help. What's with the coin system I wonder?

about the experts,some of them are famous at their fields but i am afraid this website just list their names
and no cooperate with these experts at all.

Thanks, Mark. This website is very difficult to navigate, even if you can read Chinese. It is poorly designed, reminiscent of early 2000s websites. The coin system allows users to pay for expert appraisals.
Just to be clear: I have absolutely no interest or intention to ever buy anything from this website. Mainly for the lack of trustworthiness, but also for the legal reason you mentioned.
That said, I feel the appraisals might have some educational value. I've found it interesting just scanning over some of them. For example, take a look at this piece.
The appraisal is in the box at the top right:
The top line can be ignored. 598 is just an identification number.
The 2nd line is the period. In this case it says "New"
The 3rd line says "Collection value" and the result is "Has no collection value"
The 4th line is most interesting. It explains why it's appraised the way it is. Here it comments that the glaze is too glossy and that the incised decoration is too stiff, lacks fluidity. I think we could all agree with this.
