Hello Community, this is my first post!
My aunt has recently entrusted me with the care of a grouping of Chinese silk panel paintings. I would like to know your collective thoughts on our potential options, including rough value, as-is, potentially help get them into the hands of someone who can restore them— their value if restored— and possibly take them to auction if deemed worthwhile, or connect with the right collector here or elsewhere.
One of my Chinese friends has attempted an initial translation, which was difficult for her. In her words, “These are signed in a very archaic writing style,” and has no idea what the red stamps read. I assume the red stamps symbolize the artist and/or guild. One of the pieces she said reads as:

Curved Moon
(Or Crescent Moon?)
The size of each panel / section is roughly 17”W x 36”H x 3/4”D, with the largest 4-panel piece being roughly 68”W. The backside of each panel is covered over with original patterned fabric (not pictured), and surrounded by a 3/4” wood frame; along the outer edges of framework are intermittent sections of filigree style decorative brass embellishments (mostly oxidized with red ink inside of graving), and riveted to the wood (not pictured). I can take any additional detail photos upon request in a very short turnaround time.
Some back story from my aunt:
“Jim— I have a piece of artwork that I believe to be rare and old. Unfortunately it needs several repairs, and want you to handle finding the next owner who can appreciate these. I happened to do a trade with a friend about 25 years ago because I liked Chinese art. At the time it was in almost perfect condition with only one minor poke through the silk. It sat behind my master bed headboard. Through the years accidents happened and the piece accumulated 3 more pokes. One day I noticed there were a lot of cob webs on the picture so I grabbed a broom. With one quick swipe forward and backwards I managed to damage the piece, still not knowing how fragile or rare the piece actually was, nevertheless it was an immediately painful experience. I caught tiny threads of the silk and pulled it horizontally. Two weeks later I happened to be watching the Antiques Road Show, and another 4-panel silk piece just like this one was featured— they gave a value of $26,000 dollars. Well I have the four panels, plus two additional side single panels. I know these are very old. My friend’s great aunt traveled the world specifically in the late 1940’s through 1960’s, and she purchased these during her travels. If still alive, my friend’s great aunt would be nearing 100 years old. I hope this helps and good luck with your investigations.”

Welcome to the forum! I like the way your aunt displayed the paintings, they look really nice hanging there.
I am sorry but I can't help you with the age and value, not least because the pictures aren't clear enough. Maybe someone else will be able to help; if not and you do have some high quality pictures, I would recommend sending them to Peter for a valuation. It isn't very expensive and it will give your aunt the information she needs.
