We think for what this was, it was a very good buy. Not only was it a fine Wanli mark and period example, but was dated also. Chinese porcelain auction results from other sales of similar examples indicate this was a very fine buy.

A very, very nice buy for a rare form and type of Ming Bronze and in good condition. Being much, much rarer than incense burners of the period that can sell for 10 times as much, makes this a good selection for a bronze collector. Chinese Qing Dynasty Period, Qianlong red & blue wrapped floral motif porcelain moon vase. The porcelain with tall ovoid body, thick, with bulbous lower region, sweeping up into a slender neckline and straight slightly flaring mouth rim, raised with slight short rectangle footing, two archaic ruyi handles flanked from neck to the shoulder rim, create majestic handles.
Another well done modern reproduction selling for less than half of one percent of the value of an authentic example.

Another Qianlong Imperial modern copy made to deceive, aimed at novice buyers in China and everywhere a fool and his money are waiting to be parted.

Stunning, Lustrous, Chinese Qing Dynasty Period, Qianlong hundred dear zun motif porcelain vase. The Porcelain potted in a Zun shaped vase, thick, globular body, slighty ovoid body, rounded shoulder concealing gracefully to a prominent straight neck, two archaic ruyi handles emerging and flanked on the neck, raised with short splayed foot base rim.
One of the rarest of all Chinese porcelain types. This one sadly is a great illustration of just how good the modern fakes are today. Authentic examples sell for $4,000,000 to $8,000,000 or more. See more from this auctioneer.

The underglazed bulbous body, decorated with hand-painting in variegate tones and shades cobalt blue underglaze, depicted vigorous dragon striding amidst flames. Auspicious geometrical pattern and floral motifs banded to the neck under the rim.
