This is CZERNY'S 74th sale and will consist solely of Chinese and Japanese ceramics and art.

On offer is a good selection of 262 Lots of late Ming to Republic period porcelains, snuff bottles, coral, textiles, and paintings.

Chinese objects include. An attractive selection of Famille Rose and enamelled porcelains ranging from bowls to vases of both the Chinese taste and Export wares. Also on offer is wide selection of good snuff bottles in all materials including ceramic, rock crystal. ivory, glass, hardstones and cloisonne. Early in the sale is a fine pair of enamel decorated square form Japanese snuffs for the Chinese market. Additional Chinese objects include carved jade plaques, as well as a fine gilt bronze handled mirror with a nephrite jade tablet. For monochrome buyers, there are several good "Fanghu" form vases, a pear shaped vase, planters and mallet vases.

Japanese objects will also be offered, including a large Meiji period blue and white vase with peacock decorations. Of particular interest are several well carved and old Netsuke in boxwood and Ivory. Be sure to check them out.

Other categories included are a number of very good early Chinese silks, including a handsome Qianlong period hanging banner, and a fine robe. Be sure to check the blue and white examples, some good pieces.
