Just my opinion, but we used to dye for these beautiful Magxi Imari plated 50 years ago, and in my opinion should be collected not by young people....value will go up in time...so for now they make excellent decorative eye candy injections a home.

Very late Meji period circa 1900.

The design is well known.

The market for japanese porcelain is still very depressed. At auction @ $80 -150.

That's a Japanese Imari plate, Meiji period. It's a very nice example.

I need help identifying this plate, as far as I know it was my grandmothers.

Is it Japanese or Chinese

If genuine what sort of value would it have.

Plate is in storage so dimensions are approximate (11 in diameter)
