I am so sorry. Your original post did not show up in recent posts. Maybe others missed it, too. This has happened a few times to me recently.

I'm afraid that I can’t help with this item. I have seen similar Song pieces which are, I believe, funerary items and often faked.

Hopefully someone else will know more.

An unglazed ceramic pagoda that measures 14" (36cm) in diameter and 37" (94cm) tall.

It's in very good condition and is composed of five separate pieces that fit together. The top Each level of the pagoda is adorned with small zoomorphic heads. There's a uniquely shaped dome and anthropomorphic figures towards the lower register. I assume that it's a Tang dynasty piece made for ritualistic purposes?

I've seen ceramic pagodas with hexagonal/pentagonal shapes (most commonly glazed). Need help identifying this one. Thank you.
