Maybe he will be along to reiterate the clues. Tam, whom we have not heard from in a long time was a specialist with these embroideries and mentioned that the number of border materials leading to the central pattern can also have some significance. Perhaps a photo of the back of the frame and the hanger might help. I have a small embroidery that had a Made in Peking (rather than Beijing) paper label attached that helped with the dating. Sharon
