That's pretty. I like the pink under the rim. It's Chinese 20th c, in my opinion.

I hadn't seen that base before but found two similar examples, I would place yours after the earlier one but before the ebay example. I did have a more specific date in mind but a couple of things give me doubts, so I will leave it vague for the moment. 😊

Hey All,

We picked up this little cloisonne vase the other day, and I have a question about the foot. It appears to have been made to mount into another part like base of some sort. Is that a common form? Also any ideas on age?
