I really appreciate it! Teapots aren’t my thing but when I saw this one, I had to purchase it even though the lid had been damaged. Thanks for helping me identify the time period it was possibly made. Since my kids aren’t collectors of Asian Art, I like to put a small piece of paper inside of things so they will know what it is, once I move on in life. They don’t appreciate it now, but they will one day.  😂

The mark is Tongzhi. It's a stamped mark. 

Highly probable to Guangxu period 1875-1908. Of early republic period 1912-1949. So in my opinion 1900-1920's.

The Tongzhi period was 1856-1875... so just after the Tongzhi.

It is interesting that it is fired on stilts and there is no foot ring, but certainly looks Guangxu.

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!! I picked up this little teapot this weekend and was wondering if someone could help date it. I am thinking late 18th Century because of the art work What are your thoughts? It is approximately 3-4” tall.  Also, I didn’t know if it had original handles. I couldn’t find a similar one online with that particular drawing and was hoping it catches someone’s eye as something they have seen and could possibly send a link. As always, I appreciate everyone’s help.
