Would like to purchase. Up to $50,000
Little bit of a different topic here, but I'm looking to buy your antiques. Please see all information below.
I am looking to pay a fair price, comparable with a Sotheby's or Christie's price for the right piece. I will not be interested in items with photos shared on the forum. I am mostly interested in items where the person know's what they have. That makes it a fair deal and an easy deal. If you dont know what you have, then it's probably not on my list.
Types of items.
Late Ming to Republic Period furniture. Must be hardwood and of traditional form and joinery. In particular, chairs, couch-style beds, and tables.
Pottery from the Han or Tang Dynasty. Must have 30 years worth of provenance in writing. Period.
Bronzes from the Ming Dynasty or 18th century. No censers. Must be either figural in form or of vase form. No provenance is fine. Industrial-style Ming bronzes are ideal.
17th to 18th century porcelain. Monochromes only. Must be marked.
Early stone statuary, fragmentary in nature.
Again, I will offer a fair price. References can be provided. Please email me if interested. I will read all emails but will not respond to all emails. Please do not email me with illicit items for sale, such as ivory or horn. I will only buy from the United States, Europe, Australia, and Canada.
